Recent collaborations

GLS charity campaign in collaboration with Debra Butterfly Skin. A charity store with clothes and toys for children.

We collaborate with Debra – Butterfly Skin by managing the collection and delivery of packages between the charity shops that this NGO has distributed throughout the country. These shops raise funds to address the medical, psychological, social, and research needs of both the patients and their caregiving families.

Butterfly skin, or epidermolysis bullosa, is a rare and incurable genetic disease that causes extreme fragility of the skin. People who suffer from it must bandage their bodies almost daily, require painful treatments that can last several hours, and endure wounds and blisters from the slightest friction.

This initiative aligns with SDGs 3 and 17.

Red Cross distributing aid to those affected by the DANA storm in Valencia.

We contributed a donation of 50,000 euros to the Spanish Red Cross to support the communities affected by the DANA storm in Valencia. Along with this donation, the transportation of materials to the affected area enabled aid to reach the families impacted both immediately and in the long term.

Additionally, we have supported initiatives through solidarity transport, such as Zooplus, which sent food and accessories for animals from various shelters and associations, and "Un Canto a Valencia," a charity concert that also organized the collection of toys for those affected.

Aligned with SDGs 10 and 17.

Sant Joan de Déu Hospital – Charity Hot Chocolate Event

We join the “Charity Hot Chocolate” project, organizing hot chocolate events across Spain. The goal is to raise funds for Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, which allocates them to research and improving treatments for childhood cancer. We collaborate in the shipping and distribution of all the necessary materials, as well as the merchandising for the organization of the hot chocolate events.

We take part in the traditional event organized by 3Cat, which raises millions of euros each year for medical research. In the 2024 edition, over €6.4 million was donated to support research on respiratory diseases.

GLS Agency 726 in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona), with the support of GLS, collaborates in transporting promotional materials. Additionally, in the latest edition, GLS was a sponsor of the Partit dels Famosos, giving its name to one of the two participating teams in this football match featuring singers, actors, journalists, influencers, and other public figures.

Sustainability Report 2023 – 2024

We sponsor one of the twelve months of the year in the Talita Foundation’s solidarity calendar. This non-profit organization creates the calendar with the aim of raising funds to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and special educational needs.

GLS collaborates by providing free shipping of the calendars, a tool for building a more equal and inclusive future that offers opportunities for children and young people with intellectual disabilities to receive education in mainstream schools.

Sustainability Report 2023 – 2024

The Real Three Wise Men never miss their annual tradition: making the wishes written in letters by children and elderly people in need come true. At GLS, we help bring the magic of this initiative to life by delivering to foundations, care homes, and orphanages more than 20,000 gifts donated by those who sponsor these disadvantaged groups.

Other collaborations over time

Urban photo exhibition “29 Miradas” in Zaragoza, sponsored by GLS, featuring large-format images displayed in public spaces showcasing portraits and cultural scenes.

From 2022 to 2024, we collaborated with the 29miradas photographic exhibition, which raised awareness by showcasing the situation of women in Afghanistan. The project featured the work of about thirty photography professionals and had a strong artistic component that amplified its message of protest against the abolition of the most fundamental rights.

We Are a Signatory of the United Nations Global Compact

From 2016 to 2024, we collaborated with the non-profit organization Spanish Mastocytosis Foundation (FEM) by collecting plastic bottle caps in agencies and branches across the country. We collected and transported the caps to the recycling plant for processing. In this way, we have supported research and palliative care for this rare disease, contributing to SDGs 3 and 17.

GLS food donation campaign with boxes and non-perishable products such as legumes, pasta, and canned goods, aimed at helping families in need.

In 2023, we joined the major food drive for the Madrid Food Bank. Employees from the city’s main centers contributed basic non-perishable food items for the most vulnerable groups. In 2024, the provision of logistical materials for the collection and storage of products was another small step in the fight against food poverty.
